Monthly Board Meetings

All are invited to attend our monthly board meetings. In October, November, April, May and June we meet at the Carriage House. All other months we meet at the Field House. Meetings start at 6:30 pm and the dates are as follows: September 2, October 7, November 4, December 2, January 6 2011, February 3, March  3, April 7,  May 6,  and June 3, 2011 Annual Meeting.

Weeding in the Park

Our summer weeding of the Lily Pond, Madison Avenue flower bed and Carriage House got a late start this year, but we have more than made up for lost time! Thanks to an influx of new volunteers, primarily graduates and undergraduates from SUNY ESF, we have managed to already get to all the flower beds, including the backs of the perennial beds at the Lily Pond. This would not have been possible without the help of Marilyn Zaleon, Tim Rice, Lyn Simmer, Jeanette Mattson, Grace Flushe, Frannie Monasterio, Dale Avers, Nora Hakizimana, Margi Nasemann, Karen Hill, Bee Messenger, Pat Van Beveran, Carol Simson, Jess, Cody, Matthew and Matt.

Please consider joining us. No experience is necessary and we even provide the tools! Check your calendar to see if you can join us at one or more the following dates and times, and if you would like to receive e-mail reminders and updates please contact Miranda Hine at miranda@twcny.rr.com. Join us Saturday, August 7,  10 – 12, Tuesday, August 10 from 10 – 11 and Wednesday August 11 from 4 – 6.
